Springside Inn sits across the road from Owasco Lake's western shore. Its roots go back to 1851, when the Rev. Samuel R. Brown founded a boys' school called Springside. In 1919 Captain John Holland opened the building as a summer resort, and it later became a year-round hotel and restaurant. Sean and Beth Lattimore bought it in 1999. Today the inn focuses on overnight stays, weddings and private events.
